Hello! I am a Birmingham native and am so excited to have recently
moved back to my hometown after living and teaching in Decatur, AL, for
15 years. I am the proud mom of three children- Morgan who is
studying art at Belmont University in Nashville, TN, Mason who is
serving in the U. S. Navy, and Sam who will be
entering 8th grade this year. I earned my bachelor’s degree at UAB and can’t wait to watch some Blazer football
when the new stadium is complete. I earned my Master’s and Ed.S. in
Elementary Education from the University of West Alabama. I have taught 3rd and 4th grades, served as a Reading Specialist, and recently
switched gears to teach my lifelong passion- art. Hope everyone has a fantastic school year!! Love, Mrs. Martin :)
